It was a beautiful Saturday for a wedding in Syracuse, IN! This lakeside wedding was complete with a beautiful outside venue and hints of a nautical theme with the guy's attire. One of my favorite moments of their day was their first look! Complete with a gorgeous reception and THE most amazing custom cupcakes!

Well guess what it did....it rained! Even though the ceremony was planned for outdoors I think it was even more stunning indoors with the breeze blowing through the opened barn doors. Katelyn and Byron were such a sweet couple to work with. Katelyn's dress was gorgeous and her jewelry was one of a kind. Everything was beautiful and Katelyn and Byron's love for one another could clearly be seen. Byron was always tending to his lovely bride and looked at her with the softest smile and a light in his eyes. You could tell he was still just in love with her as he was when they first met. Katelyn was the sweetest person ever, with her warm smile making everyone feel right at home. I'm so overjoyed and happy for this couple and their journey into marriage. I was so blessed to be able to be a part of their special day!
As I'm catching up on my blogging I keep thinking back to this sunny evening where the light was perfect and love was in the air. Nate and Marissa had taken their vows for forever earlier that day and I was lucky enough to be able to capture some great images of them and their kids. The kids loved blowing bubbles and the sparklers were a hit! Congratulations to Nate and Marissa and their adorable little family!
Mike and Lauren's wedding day could not have been more perfect. From her stunning wedding dress down to her gorgeous reception venue, there wasn't a detail of the day that was missed. Her bridesmaids were the sweetest and the groomsmen were the most fun and cooperative bunch I'd ever met. Mike and Lauren have a special and sentimental love for one another. While Mike is a goofball he also has the sweetest heart. Seeing him shed a tear while reading Lauren's letter made my heart melt! Lauren was such a sweetheart as well, so bubbly and always smiling, her personality lifted the mood to any room she walked into. I am so happy to have met them both and was able to capture their special day!

After a 45 minute drive, beautiful Indiana scenery and a few gravel roads I wound up at this cozy home nestled inside a patch of woods. With colorful leaves all over the yard and the sun casting a perfect glow, I knew this would be a great session. Dustin and Jenna were the absolute sweetest and so were their kids. The twins and an older sister. They all were so much fun and energetic. We raced around the yard, played in the leaves and even played with the dogs. This session was the most fun I'd had all year and I really didn't even want to leave. Haha. So here's a peek at their wonderful session! Enjoy!
